Elmira Medins is a fashion designer for shoes, clothing, and accessories. Founder of atelier and showroom in France, Italy, UAE, and many EU countries. Elmira Medins is one of the luxury brands in Europe. In 2022, she began active volunteer work to support Ukraine in the war with Russia.

Business Challenges

The client set the following business tasks that needed to be implemented by the project team:

  1. Develop a multifunctional online store for the showroom.
  2. Increase conversion by using the latest e-commerce design trends and usability.
  3. Attract an audience from the Internet.
  4. Place orders through the website.
  5. Popularization and development of the brand.
  6. Implementation of adaptive layout for all types of devices.
  7. Make online payments through the website.
  8. Introduce new collections to the brand’s clients.

Audience

The Promodex team decided to implement the project in the following stages:

  1. Perform niche and competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Analyze the EU and US markets to identify the most promising and sought-after regions for promotion and maximum conversion.
  3. Perform analysis of search queries to compile the semantic core of the website.
  4. Create a site structure based on the semantic core.
  5. Work out the UI/UX of the project based on the analytics.
  6. Implement website design following the company's brand book and modern web design trends.
  7. Implement the required pool of work on the front-end and back-end parts.
  8. Test the project, including load tests, usability, performance, and security.

The Promodex team implemented a turnkey solution within 24 working days: from the initial need of the Customer to the implementation of the website and its launch.

  1. The site is in the PageSpeed Insights green zone, which was an important parameter for the site's SEO optimization.
  2. According to the test results, we got good usability results.
  3. Due to the high-quality internal optimization of the resource and the well-developed content on the site, the number of offline orders in the atelier and showroom has also increased.
  4. In the first month, test advertising campaigns have already shown 0.5-1.3% conversion, which is a quite good result for such a category of goods.

The target audience of the project is designed for women aged 17 - 55 who prefer to use well-known brands, and appreciate style, quality, and comfort.

Value Delivered

The Promodex team developed a turnkey solution within 25 working days: from the main idea to the product implementation and conducting a research advertising campaign to assess the perception of a new product by users.

A team of 8 people took part in the project implementation: project manager, business analyst, marketer, UI/UX specialist, SEO specialist, front-end developer, back-end developer, and QA specialist.

The site was developed using the site management system and CMS OpenCart, as this platform meets all technical requirements, as well as customer preferences.

  • Edgе (12+).

Responsive version of the website:

  • Full-width starts at 1200px;
  • The tablet version starts at 768px wide;
  • The mobile version starts at 320px wide.

We chose the most popular device resolutions that provide comfortable viewing of site pages at different screen resolutions and on mobile devices.
