Background

Online GYM - Web platform for online training. This is a training library. You come in and choose your own, suitable style, and personal characteristics, which correspond to the current goal and harmoniously fit into the normal rhythm of life. The slogan of the company is "Be a sport. Everywhere".

Business Challenges

The goal of the project is to create a unique training web platform in Ukraine.

As part of the project, we solved the following tasks:

Creation of the main page with a description of the platform.
Information about trainers.
Useful blog.
Program selection function based on individual user data.

Development of a personal account with the following functions:

Registration and renewal of a subscription with a reminder.
Workout programs videos.
Training calendar.
Clients achievements.
Calorie counter.
Food diary.
Online payment system integration.

Audience

The target audience of the project is men and women aged 18 to 65 who are passionate about a healthy lifestyle, and sports, and who want to get their bodies in shape.

The Promodex team decided to implement the project in the following stages:

Perform niche and competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Analyze the company's old site to identify weaknesses and strengthen them on the new site.
Create a site structure based on the semantic core.
Work out the UI/UX of the project based on the analytics.
Implement website design.
Implement the required work pool on the front-end and back-end parts.
Test the project, including load tests, usability, performance, and security.
Filling the project with content.

Technical Information

A team of 8 people took part in the project implementation: project manager, business analyst, marketer, UI/UX specialist, SEO specialist, front-end developer, back-end developer, and QA specialist.

The site was developed on the Laravel framework, as this technology meets all technical requirements, and also allowed us to implement all the necessary functions.

We have developed a "nutrition" section, which includes recipes for various purposes (weight loss, weight gain, weight maintenance, vegetarian, etc.), as well as a food diary
The site has all the necessary functions: online payment, training program completion, feedback from the trainer, and individual selection of the program.
Due to the quality optimization of the website, the site is in the green zone in terms of site loading speed.
Now we are promoting the platform, and we are also planning to develop it - add an online store with partner products, and use user rewards in the form of bonuses.
