Buy is Armenia's national online shopping platform with a wide selection of electronics, accessories and appliances. The key requirements for the site were speed, stable performance with a large catalog and secure authentication, which is why the platform was built on React and Next.js. Shoppers come here for electronics, gadgets and household goods, often from phones and tablets.

Challenges

The platform needed a fast, stable and scalable online store with a modern interface, a convenient account system and full analytics on shopper behavior.

The site is used by shoppers looking for electronics and gadgets, regular customers with accounts and personal discounts, companies buying equipment for their offices, and shoppers who order from phones and tablets.

Maximum speed: pages must open almost instantly on any device.

Solution

Market analysis. We researched Armenia's ecommerce market and defined the main shopper scenarios and the platform architecture.
Server-side rendering with Next.js. Pages are generated on the server (SSR/ISR) and cached, so the catalog opens quickly even with a large number of products. The build is optimized with Webpack, and Cloudflare with HTTP/3 speeds up page delivery and protects the site.
Interface built with React and MUI. Theme-aware components, an intuitive catalog structure and a short path to checkout, with dynamic blocks built on Keen-Slider.
NextAuth.js authentication. Sign-in via email and social networks, two-factor authentication, secure token storage and session management.
Analytics and testing. GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Facebook Pixel and GTM for conversion and event tracking. We ran load and UX tests; PageSpeed is above 95.
