The project needed an online platform for analyzing and comparing the transparency and accountability of European states against key criteria. The data had to be accurate, updated regularly in line with current legislation, and presented so that not only expert audiences could make sense of it.
Platform users: public policy analysts and researchers, investigative journalists, civic activists and NGOs, government bodies, and European advocacy organizations.
- A single database: systematize data for each country on political financing, public procurement, conflicts of interest and more.
- Visual comparison: maps, filters and comparison of states by forms of transparency.
- Primary sources in open access: downloadable regulatory documents in PDF and XLS.
- Compliance with Horizon 2020 requirements: correctly display the project's funding.
