AA Travel is an American travel agency that provides private and corporate clients with personalized itineraries, bookings and 24/7 support. The company’s website is the channel through which clients learn about its services, including flights, hotels, vacation packages and business travel, and submit travel requests.

Challenges

The company needed a fast and reliable corporate website that shortens the path from learning about the services to submitting a travel request and handles peak booking seasons. Individual sections had to be updatable without putting the whole site at risk.

The site is used by private travelers, corporate clients with business trips and group bookings, accommodation and transportation partners, and many visitors on smartphones.

Solution

User journeys. We mapped out scenarios for private and corporate clients and structured the services (flights, hotels, vacation packages) and request forms.
Modular React architecture. With Module Federation, the first screen, forms and content blocks were split into separate modules that update independently and with no downtime. This means content can be changed even during peak booking seasons without risking stability.
AWS infrastructure. The site is built automatically and deployed to Amazon S3, and CloudFront serves it with caching and HTTP/3 support. The infrastructure is designed for peak demand, with error isolation and logging.
Forms improved with data. Validation and form interaction tracking, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar: click and scroll maps, session recordings, form analytics. We used this data to simplify the request steps.
Pre-release testing. Cross-browser and mobile testing, plus accessibility, security and performance checks.
